| Cross border into Slovenia and Croatia supplement of 6 Euros per day payable locally. Prices are based on a full seven day rental and are in GB £'s. Rates include unlimited mileage, insurance*, collision damage waiver (CDW)*, theft waiver*, airport surcharge (where applicable) breakdown recovery and all local taxes. *Excesses apply - see CDW Reimbursement Excess Insurance below FROM £3.80 per day (+5% IP tax) or £49 PER ANNUM (+5% IP tax) Daily rates are calculated at 1/7th of the weekly rate for hires of more than a week. For rentals of less than 7 days duration daily rates are 1/5th of the weekly rate. Minimum rental period = 3 days. All cars are equipped with a radio cassette. Our car hire prices include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Waiver (THW) which covers you in case of damage / loss of a rented vehicle or its parts or accessories, fire, breakage of glass or theft for damage/repair to the vehicle. However, in all cases a non–waiverable excess (NWE) excess does apply where you will remain liable for an excess amount up to a maximum of €850 on car groups EBMR - IVMR and €1300 for all other groups for non-theft issues. For theft related issues the following excesses will apply: €1400 for car groups EBMR - EDMR, €1400 for car groups CDMR - CWMR, €2600 for all other groups. The NWEs can be waived by paying the following optional insurances locally: SUPER CDW charged at €16.80 per day. Reduces CDW excess to zero. SUPER THW charged at €14.40 per day. Reduces THW excess to zero (thefts in the region of Campania and Puglia are not covered). SUPER LDW charged at €24 per day. Additional Options Additional Drivers: Additional drivers charged at €7.20 per day per driver, payable locally. Driver’s licence and minimum age: An EU or International driving licence held for at least one year must be produced. Minimum age requirements for drivers are 18 years of age for car groups EBMR - EDMR, 21 years for CDMR - IVMR, 25 years for all other car groups. Please note young driver insurance surcharge below: there is no maximum driver age age although driver must be of reasonable health and fitness. Young driver insurance surcharge: Drivers aged 18 years pay €21.60 per day locally. Drivers aged 19 and 20 years pay €12 per day locally. Drivers aged 21 - 24 years pay €12 per day locally up to a maximum 10 days charge. Infant, child seats and other items: €43.80 per rental paid locally. Delivery/Collection: On request and delivery is only to a hotel. Within city limits delivery/collection charged at €18.60 one-way during office hours. Outside city limits charged at €1.20 per km (minimum charge €25.20). Delivery outside office hours is charged at €30 plus Kms costs as above. After hours pick-up from the airport is on-request and charged at €30. Car hire office locations: One way rentals: A one-way fee of €46.80 is charged between car rental offices within mainland Italy. Returning the rented vehicle abroad is on request and subject to a fee. Driving into neighbouring countries: Vehicle may be driven into Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary and Czech Republic and are subject to a €6 per day surcharge payable locally.
