Accommodation in Zadar 'is a perfect base'

From accommodation in Zadar, tourists can enjoy a wide range of attractions and beautiful spots within the distance of a short walk.

Natalie Paris, writing for the Telegraph, says the historic port town on the Dalmatian coast dates back several hundred years.

Wherever holidaymakers opt to stay in Zadar, the view is likely to be breathtaking, whether it be of the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea where ferries shuffle back and forth, or of the ancient town itself.

Ms Paris picks out the Garden as the top bar in the resort, suggesting it is "perfect for a nightcap".

She also notes that just a short stroll from her own accommodation in the centre of Zadar was the town's famous cathedral, a number of museums and genuine Roman remains.

Zadar is set to add another attraction to its portfolio, with a replica of the London Eye due to be erected in the area, the Croatian Times recently reported.
