Adventurous holidaymakers warned about travel insurance
29 September 2009Croatia is an excellent place to head for a relaxing holiday, but some people may want to take part in more adventurous activities.
According to moneysupermarket.com, a third of Brits are enjoying 'daredevil' activities while on holidays.
Maxine Baker, travel insurance manager at the comparison site, said it was important to get insurance "whether you're a student planning a gap year to remember, taking a career break or simply heading off for some autumn sun".
There are many adrenaline-boosting sports that holidaymakers can take part in on a break in Croatia.
Wakeboarding, base jumping, rock climbing and diving are some of the activities that take place in the country.
Monesupermarket.com found that horse riding was among the most popular risky sports, with 12 per cent of vacationers looking to take part.
Scuba diving, jet skiing, quad biking and parasailing were among the other activities.
