Advice issued to Croatia holidaymakers
18 June 2009People on holiday in Croatia should be aware that there will be a number of changes to the transport system in Zagreb on Friday June 19th and Saturday June 20th.
Due to the arrival in the country of Chinese president Hu Jintao and the consequent traffic regulation policy, people are being advised to use direct bus lines to the airport, rather than drive.
If tourists or locals do have to drive to the capital's Pleso Airport - they may need to drop off hire cars for example - they should give themselves one hour more than they usually would, according to the Croatian Times.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that more people chose a Croatia holiday in 2008 than the previous year.
Including those people from Croatia who decided to have a vacation close to home, tourism figures were up one per cent to almost 11.3 million tourists, according to companiesandmarkets.com.
