Airline launches new Dubrovnik flights
09 September 2009Airline bmibaby has announced that it will be expanding at East Midlands Airport.
With the growth will be eight new flights to destinations in Europe, including the popular Croatian holiday destination of Dubrovnik.
Staring from May 29th 2010, two additional flights a week are to be added to the Dubrovnik route, on Thursdays and Sundays.
Crawford Rix, managing director of bmibaby, said: "As well as announcing eight new routes today to Sardinia, Barcelona, Corsica, Cork, Croatia, Malta, Newquay and Venice, we have also increased our capacity on key winter and summer routes.
"We are confident that the services will prove extremely popular and we will make sure that everyone who wants to fly can."
The news means that bmibaby's capacity from East Midlands Airport has increased by 40 per cent.
Croatia has seen a lot of positive airline news recently - it was announced yesterday that there would be additional flights running to Dubrovnik from the Scottish city of Aberdeen.
