Airliner launches Dalmatia route
19 January 2009A new route to one of Croatian Dalmatia's most picturesque locations is to be offered by a major European airliner.
As part of its new schedule, Ryanair will be providing flights to Zadar from the Scottish capital of Edinburgh, giving travellers the opportunity to experience the historic city's stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage.
The new route will commence at the end of March and will give travellers a chance to experience one of Croatia's best-kept secrets.
Stephen McNamara, a spokesman for Ryanair, said: "Passengers can continue to beat the recession by flying at Ryanair's guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges."
He added that to celebrate the beginning of these new routes, the airliner would be offering one million seats for one euro each throughout February and March.
Located in northern Dalmatia, Zadar offers a number of attractions including the Croatian Theatre House, the Permanent Exhibition of Sacral Art and St Donatus' Church.
