Another route into Croatia confirmed
02 June 2009Europeans have many routes they can take if they choose to holiday Croatia style this year - but they will have another one from July 4th.
Spanish airline Iberia will start a new service from Madrid to the Croatian capital Zagreb on this date, adding to the Madrid-Dubrovnik route that as established in 2008.
The new link between capital cities is scheduled to end of September 20th, but may continue if the flights prove popular.
People travelling from Spain towards Croatian villas and other accommodation in Dubrovnik will be able to jump on airplanes three times a week - on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays - from June 16th until September 29th.
Budget carrier easyJet and Jet2.com also plan to increase routes from other parts of Europe to Croatia over the course of the summer.
Meanwhile, Index News reported last month that Serbian firm Jat Airways' route from Belgrade to Pula in Croatia is the airline's most profitable service.
