Armani enjoys Croatian holiday
15 September 2009Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani took some time out in Croatia to recover from a bout of illness recently.
Armani sailed around the Croatian coast, According to the Associated Press, which cited the ANSA news agency.
He also took in the southern coast of Italy and Sicily on the break, which he said was the "longest vacation" of his life.
"I deserved it," the eccentric Italian fashion designer added.
Mr Armani has been battling hepatitis for a month and missed several public appearances earlier this year.
He is one of a large number of celebrities to have enjoyed a break in Croatia in recent months.
Among the stars to visit were US music superstar Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z, bassist for U2 Adam Clayton and actor Mickey Rourke.
Beyonce chose to spend her time in the historic city of Dubrovnik, taking in some of the wonderful sights it has to offer.
