Australian Pink Floyd Show set to entertain Croatian holidaymakers
05 February 2010The Australian Pink Floyd Show is being performed tonight (February 5th) in Croatia - which may be of interest to tourists currently on a Croatian holiday.
Split's Spaladium Arena is the venue for the boys from Down Under, who were formed in Melbourne in 1988, the Croatian Times reveals.
People spending a long weekend in a Croatian villa may consider travelling to see the performance worthwhile, as the band is one of the most acclaimed tribute acts in the business.
Guitarist Steve Mac tells the newspaper: "We do not want anyone to go home disappointed. The audience can expect two-and-a-half hours of excellent Pink Floyd music."
Members of the Australian Pink Floyd Show are the only such people to have performed with the real Pink Floyd.
Pink Floyd's 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon sold an estimated 45 million copies, making it one of the world's best selling records.
