Book extreme sports holiday in Zagreb
18 February 2011Britons looking for an extreme sports holiday may wish to consider booking accommodation in Zagreb and taking advantage of new facilities in the city.
Following a report by Jutarnji List, the Croatian Times explains Warehouse Skatepark is to open for business in the heart of Croatia's capital on February 26th.
Found at Slavonska Avenija 3, the complex is a venue for a range of extreme sports and offers 1,200 sq m of space for skaters, jumpers and riders.
Also on offer at the development is a shop selling top extreme sports equipment, a coffee bar and other cultural material, the news source states.
In addition to trying out a host of adrenaline-fuelled activities, visitors could also use the break as a chance to explore one of Europe's most fascinating cities.
Zagreb.com describes the destination as a "very old and traditional European city", with the River Sava and Medvednica Mountains just two of the natural highlights found nearby.
