Britons' love of Croatia keeps growing, figures suggest

Britain's love affair with Croatia is only getting stronger, a new study has revealed.

Just as demand for villa holidays in Croatia continues to rise among holidaymakers, the latest figures published by Primelocation International show that many Britons are so enamoured with the country that they are looking to move there for good.

Indeed, according to the property portal, interest in Croatian property rose by 30 per cent over the course of last year, with people being won over by all the factors that make the country such a popular holiday choice, including excellent weather, historic cities and favourable exchange rates.

In addition, Croatia's ongoing bid to join the European Union has also been cited as a possible factor behind the trend, with investors viewing Croatia as a country that is going places.

News of this trend comes as the London Symphony Orchestra gears up to take its European tour to Zagreb.

The renowned orchestra will take to the stage in the Croatian capital on May 11th under the leadership of Valery Gergiev.
