Car hire customer 'looking forward to Croatian holiday'

One tourist has detailed his Croatian holiday plans to the Irish Independent, revealing he is using Dubrovnik as a base from which to explore the Balkans.

In addition to enjoying the sun, sea and sights of the ancient city on Croatia's Adriatic coast, J Allen intends to take a short trip to neighbouring Montenegro.

Picking up a Hertz hire car on arrival, the traveller describes in a letter to the newspaper plans to tour the coast by road.

In response, Tom Hall of the publication notes that those hiring a car in Croatia should have no problems accessing Montenegro.

J Allen may also wish to use the vehicle to see more of Croatia's diverse land - from the country's vast Adriatic coast to historic cities, such as Split and Zagreb.
