Charlize Theron 'planning a holiday in Croatia'

Hollywood actress Charlize Theron is said to be a huge fan of Croatia and is planning to enjoy a holiday in the country as soon as possible.

The thespian can sing the national anthem of the Balkan state and is friends with actor Rade Serbedzija, states the Croatian Times following a report by 24 Sata.

Rada Boric, the director of the Centre of Women's Studies, revealed Theron's fascination with Croatia after spending time with her in the Congo recently.

According to the news source, the actress intends to show her love of the country by taking a holiday in Croatia in the near future.

Theron is not the first high-profile star to declare a fondness for the nation, with Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria spending some time there last summer.

Meanwhile, fellow actress Gemma Arterton recently told the Guardian Croatia is one of the most romantic places she has ever been.
