Cheap flights available to Croatia

Holidaymakers to Croatia can get cheap flight deals as a number of low-cost airlines travel to the country, a source reports.

The Times states Wizz Air offers air travel from London Luton airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with prices from as little as £19 one way.

A reporter in the newspaper states a flight from London to Zagreb, the largest city in Croatia, was £54 and under £20 on return.

However, the travel expert advises prices vary depending on when holidaymakers are travelling and his flight was out of the summer peak, in February next year.

People who prefer to fly from Heathrow can opt for a journey with Croatian Airlines, but may find the fares are more expensive.

The newspaper reports the cheapest it could find a ticket was for £133 return.

Earlier this month the price of flights to Dubrovnik on British Airways were reduced to £88 return in the airline's sale.
