Children's theatre festival to hit Zagreb next month
10 March 2009Croatia's annual children's theatre festival is to arrive in the capital city of Zagreb next month.
Known as Naj, naj, naj, the week-long event will be held in various theatres across the city between April 14th and 19th.
Although this year's showcase will mark the ninth time Zagreb has held the festival, it is only the third year it has been open to performers of all nationalities.
Naj, naj, naj is free of charge to all visitors and its organiser, the city theatre Zar Ptica, claims that it will present the best of what children's rep theatre can offer.
According to the Croatian Times, acts from as far afield as Denmark, Romania and Bulgaria are lined up to perform at the spring event.
It was revealed earlier this week that Croatia had been nominated for the prestigious Golden Flower of Europe award, which judges locations on their environmental and ecological credentials.
