Christmas concerts await on Croatian holidays
26 November 2009People taking Croatian holidays this winter may want to attend one of the Christmas concerts due to take place in the Punat region.
First to take place is a performance by a male choir at the Parish Church on Sunday, December 20th, according to the Tourist Office of Punat's events listing.
The line-up also includes singing from local children, which could add a charming touch to Croatian holidays around that time.
It also offers an early-evening event for those who are not keen to stay up late, with the concert scheduled to begin at 17:00 local time.
However, the Christmas Eve concert due to take place on the islet of Kosljun may seem like a more authentic alternative for traditionalists.
This is due to start at 23:00, providing an opportunity to see in Christmas morning in a celebration of song.
For more ideas of activities in the region, the Tourist Office itself is open weekdays between 08:00 and 15:00.
