Coco's Club 'adds craziness' to vacation in Croatia

A vacation in Croatia could be given a "crazy" edge with a visit to Coco's Club on the island of Ugljan.

Located in Kukljica, on the southern end of the island, the club is a lounge venue in the daytime and becomes a disco in the evenings.

Music on the playlist covers every genre except folk, according to Gianna Apostolska, one of the faces of the venue.

She tells Croatian news provider Javno that the in-house DJ provided the entertainment recently while she was caught on camera by well-known Croatian photographer Stephan Lupino.

"DJ Robi created a great atmosphere by playing house and local music, because people like that when they are having fun," she says.

Once the photoshoot was over, the venue was opened up to allow the public back in to areas that had provided the backdrop for the snaps.

A vacation in Croatia could be ideal for active travellers, as the Kukljica tourism website notes that cycling, diving and tennis are available locally, with walking paths also in the region.
