Coffee festival a perk for Croatian tourism
25 March 2009From lattes to cappuccinos, coffee lovers will be sure to find something that quenches their thirst at Croatia's upcoming coffee festival.
Hosted in the coastal city of Opatija, the country's Festival Kave will see a number of industry experts and brewers take part in a celebration of all things caffeine.
Held on April 3rd to 5th, visitors to the city will be able to attend a variety of fascinating seminars and talks.
Noted speakers at the event will be the UK's World Barista Champion 2007, James Hoffman, and former world tasting title holder, Anett Moldvaer.
Coffee drinkers will also no doubt be buzzing at the news that the price of drinks at three-day festival will be five kuna (62p), meaning that a lack of cash is unlikely to be a problem.
Festival fans will also want to make a note in their diaries for May 21st to 24th, when xStatic09, Croatia's foremost urban music and culture even ADD T , arrives in the Adriatic resort of Split.
