Coffee lovers 'will feel at home when travelling to Zagreb'
25 February 2010Caffeine-fuelled tourists should head on a Croatian holiday to Zagreb - where coffee is a "national passion" and "favoured pastime," according to Tips From The T-List.
The website claims that hours and hours are spent enjoying cups of the hot drink in the Croatian capital - with an array of bars and stockists of top quality beans within walking distance of the city centre.
"From Zagreb's Main Square, the Dolac Market roof, to the surrounding Flower Square, there are more cafes than days in the month," it suggests.
Exploring Zagreb from a Croatian villa could be nicely punctuated by relaxing stops at some of the capital's leading coffee shops.
Cafes are said to be busy every day of the week - perhaps emphasising the high quality of coffee found in Croatia.
Zagreb was recently described as a "stylish yet little known" tourist destination by the Croatian National Tourist Board.
