Could Bruce Springsteen fans be travelling to Croatia?
13 January 2011The possibility of legendary American musician Bruce Springsteen travelling to Croatia for a concert in 2011 has been raised by one publication.
According to a report by Dalje that is cited by the Croatian Times, the famous artist is to perform at Zagreb's Maksimir Stadium at some point this year.
Although the date is unconfirmed, the news portal is confident enough to list it as one of its highlights of the next 12 months.
Should Springsteen confirm an appearance in the capital city, hordes of fans could be wise to start looking for accommodation in Croatia immediately.
Renowned for hits such as Born to Run, Born in the USA and Hungry Heart, the popular rocker is sure to attract a significant crowd to the venue.
The source goes on to suggest other events to look forward to this year include the pope's visit and Croatia signing the accession agreement with the European Union.
