Croatia holiday may be ideal for drummers
21 June 2010Musicians hoping to brush up on their drumming skills may find a holiday in Croatia is the answer for them this summer.
The Croatia Drum Camp 2010 is the fourth year in succession experts will be offering tuition on how to perfect the instrument close to the Adriatic Sea, reports the Croatian Times.
It is due to take place in Groznjan, on the Istrian peninsula, between August 7th and 14th giving interested parties several weeks still to secure a Croatian villa in which to stay.
Some of the previous sessions have attracted a host of world-renowned drummers who have passed on tips to attendees, the newspaper explains.
"We welcome all drum fans and percussion enthusiasts who feel attracted to the event but may have never learned to play the instrument, " artistic director Petar Curic states.
In between the musical seminars, guests may have the opportunity to explore the region, which is home to some of the most stunning views on the Adriatic coastline.
