14 January 2010Croatia has been highlighted as one of the world's best resorts for older people and retirees.
Live and Invest Overseas has announced its top ten spots those over 65 may wish to travel to, with Croatia ranked ninth.

Kathleen Peddicord, of the travel firm, believes that the deep blue waters of the Adriatic Sea are "another worldly" and the Istrian peninsula is a "fairytale".
She writes: "I defy you not to fall in love with this region, whose landscapes and way of life rival the best of Tuscany or the French and Italian rivieras, but this place is still undiscovered and therefore affordable."
Panama, France and Uruguay were ranked as the top three retirement destinations.
It was also reported this week by sunshine.co.uk that a holiday in Dubrovnik is the most favoured option for women hoping to avoid the World Cup.
