Croatia 'nothing short of breathtaking'
11 December 2008A drive into Dubrovnik is nothing short of breathtaking as you pass small villages and travel along calm azure seas in blazing sunshine, it has been reported.
The old part of the city has remained unchanged since it was built eight centuries ago and is the commercial, cultural and social centre of Dubrovnik, the Australian Jewish News says.
Visitors can discover the intricate, historical and pretty town by exploring alleys and lanes and taking a stroll along the city wall.
"Out to sea were some small and large islands that, during the summer months, would host hoards of twenty-somethings in search of a good time," the blogger noted.
Dubrovnik has a great deal of charm and history and is an idyllic Mediterranean city with ancient walls and little islands to explore, according to a writer for klue.com.
The proprietors of Restaurant Dubrovnik in Solaris Mont Kiara have evoked this image of the country, making it easy for diners to relax, the journalist adds.
