Croatia prepares for Davis Cup event

Croatia will welcome a whole host of sports fans when the Davis Cup comes to the country between July 10th and 12th.

The Balkan nation hosts a World Group quarter-final match against the US and the home team will be looking to win for the third consecutive time against the all-star American side.

Fans of tennis who want to watch all three days of action, which will involve both singles and doubles matches, will be eyeing up Croatian accommodation ahead of their stay.

Anyone who is travelling to Zagreb for the big sporting occasion may want to hire a car and explore the other attractions offered by the country such as the beautiful Dalmatia coast and the so-called pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik.

Meanwhile, it was announced this week that Andy Roddick, James Blake, and Bob and Mike Bryan will represent the US during the weekend of tennis.
