Croatia 'should not be overlooked' in autumn

A visit to Croatia in the autumn months should not be overlooked as the climate is still mild and there is plenty to appreciate, according to an online blog.

Moscenika Draga has a natural environment which has been left intact and the peaceful coastal towns have a rare charm, a blogger on vacapedia.com writes.

The beaches on the Adriatic Sea are comparable to the typical Mediterranean environment of the Italian Riviera town of Portofino.

Moscenika Draga's old town stretches towards the coast and is separated from the sea by a small port with fishing boats and tourist yachts, according to the blogger.

"There are plenty of cultural tourism of historical importance, numerous churches and countless forest and mountain tracks," the writer adds.

Visitors can take many hiking trails through the forests of Mount Ucka and climb to its highest peak at 1,401 metres above sea level.

There is no beauty superior to that which can be seen in the mountains and seascapes of Croatia, according to a blogger on kayakpaddels.kokados.com. ADNFCR-1197-ID-18847281-ADNFCR
