Croatia travel trip provides 'good food, wine and weather'

An American couple have declared their recent Croatia travel experience a success after reporting that the holiday provided "perfect weather" and the chance to try "good food" and various regional wines.

Norman and Lemie Richards, who are from Davidson, North Carolina, told DavidsonNew.net that the locals were "delightful", which added to the enjoyment of the vacation.

While they were on their Croatian holiday, they were able to see much of what the country has to offer.

Mr and Mrs Richards visited Split, the Koziak Mountains, Krka National Park, Makarska, the island of Brac, as well as the popular tourist trap that is Dubrovnik.

The news website stated: "Certainly a highlight for Lemie and Norman was the spectacular scenery with abundant wildflowers they encountered daily on their hikes."

Earlier this month, The South African publication reported that Croatia is a place where travel dreams can come true, calling the county a "stunning" place to visit.
