Croatian designer to showcase at London Fashion Week
22 February 2010Visitors to London Fashion Week are to get a taste of Croatia when one of the country's fashion brands takes to the catwalk.
Hippy Garden, which makes clothes aimed at the modern city-dwelling woman, will present its autumn/winter 2011 collection for the first time in the UK at the event, one of the most prestigious fashion proceedings in the country.
According to the Croatian Times, those enjoying the "bohemian" and "sexy urban" feel of the clothes range could visit the country themselves, staying in a villa in Croatia to see where the company gets its inspiration from.
Croatian designer Djurdjica Vorkapic from the brand will be on hand at the LGN Events End of London Fashion Week Show and Party at Boujis nightclub in the capital city on February 24th.
Hippy Garden recently opened up a franchise store in Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to take advantage of one of the largest shopping centres in Europe.
