Croatian holiday 'is one of best value deals in Europe'
16 February 2010Choosing a Croatian holiday provides tourists with one of the best value-for-money breaks in Europe at the moment, according to a travel expert.
Countries outside the eurozone generally offer more for any budget than those inside, with Croatia cited as a particularly strong example of this by Expedia.
Jonathan Cudworth, director of product management at the tourism website, says that non-eurozone nations are the best value right now, adding: "This includes the Balkan states such as Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia."
With typical holiday expenditure such as food and drink, entertainment and days out available at a cheaper price, holidaymakers may also be surprised at how far their cash will go when it comes to booking a Croatian villa.
Travel Mole's group sales director Tim Buckman believes that booking in advance - which can mean a break costs less - has also been increasingly popular at the start of 2010.
Securing a Croatian villa immediately could, if Mr Buckman is to be believed, be the cheapest way to enjoy a top-class stay by the Adriatic coast.
