Croatian holidays offer a December of dance
25 November 2009Croatian holidays could allow fancy-footed travellers to take part in a December of dance events in Rovinj.
The town is hosting a month-long celebration, Let's Dance, which is scheduled to last from December 1st until the end of the year.
A description of the event from the Croatian National Tourist Board explains that the festivities are due to combine dance nights with live performances from DJs.
Meanwhile, the Tourist Association of Rovinj adds that December 15th marks the true start of Christmas plans for the area, which could please those planning festive Croatian holidays.
Starting from December 15th and lasting until December 31st, the special programme is due to be staged in honour of both Christmas and the arrival of the new year.
Rovinj itself is an area of outstanding natural beauty all year round, with protection extending across the entire land mass and 500 m away from the shore.
