Croatian magazine set to launch

A new international publication dedicated to Croatia is set to launch in November.

Yesterday Forbes revealed it, along with Europapress Holdings (EH), will be producing Forbes Croatia.

A statement released by the publication giant suggests the magazine will mirror the content of its US counterpart, with additional items which may be of interest to those living in or planning to travel to Croatia also set to be featured.

Miguel Forbes, the firm's television and licensing president, said: "We couldn't be more excited about launching in an emerging free-market that has already embraced entrepreneurial capitalism and the flat tax system."

The publication's first printing run will consist of 24,000 copies, reports Forbes.com.

Nino Pavic, chairman of EH, told the website the magazine will "target the needs of the nation's domestic media market", before adding the sector has "been lacking a reliable, analytical and quality business magazine".

Forbes Media reaches more than 20 million consumers a month, claims the company's website.
