Croatian model on Indian Vogue cover
15 October 2008A Croatian model appears in this month's edition of Vogue India, a year after the magazine was first launched, it has been reported.
Helena Sopar took part in a photoshoot inspired by fairytales, which was captured by famous Indian photographer Barakh Sitta, javno.com reports.
The Croatian model has taken part in two international campaigns in the last year and graced the covers of magazines including Marie Clare, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Stiletto, I-D, L'Officiel and Women's Wear Daily.
Sitta is known for his advertising campaigns for Reebok, Bergdorf & Goodman, Hyundai and Air France, after making the move from India to New York, the source says.
Model Sopar was recently unveiled as the face of luxury German brand Aigner, which has 40 flagship stores worldwide, for its autumn/winter collection.
The photographs for the campaign were taken by German photographer Markus Pitzer whose fashion clients include Escada, Neiman Marcus, Strenese and French magazine Numero.
