Croatian model wins contest
17 October 2008A model has been selected to represent Croatia in the Elite Model Look competition in China on November 15th, it has been reported.
Croatian star Dumina T was selected by a jury of experts at an event held at the Regent Esplanade hotel in Zagreb, javno.com reports.
The show was hosted by Croatian celebrities Nikolina Pisek and Danijel Delale, who were joined by musical and political stars from the country.
A fashion show was put on by the contestants and raised money for the Ana Rukavina foundation which helps patients receive bone marrow transplants, the source says.
Stylist Neven Ciganovic said the jury had a difficult decision to make but they chose the type of girl who is wanted in the modelling industry.
In recent news, javno.com reports a Croatian model appears in this month's edition of Vogue India, a year after the magazine was first launched.
Helena Sopar modelled for a photoshoot inspired by fairytales, which was photographed by the well-known Indian photographer Barakh Sitta.
