Croatian premium wine to be showcased in London
17 March 2010Holidaymakers who have previously stayed in Croatian villas may be only too aware of the fine wine on offer in the country, with different regions offering a variety of products.
Those visitors to the London International Wine Fair are set to experience fare from around 30 of Croatia's top wine producers, Harpers Wine and Spirits Trades Review has revealed.
Around 50 premiums wines from across the country's wine-growing regions will be on offer, supported by the Croatian Ministry of Agriculture and the Chamber of Commerce.
The quality of wine could result in some of the tasters booking Croatian villas and heading off on a holiday to experience the produce in its own country.
Speaking to Harpers, project manager for Fine Wine from Croatia Ivona Grgan said: "We believe that Croatia brings something new and unusual to the table, in the form of extensive indigenous grape varieties and distinctive wines."
Fine Wine from Croatia is a group which promotes the quality of wine from the country, as well as the food it offers.
