Croatian shopping centre to be extended
25 February 2008Visitors to Croatia may have another reason to look forward to their trip, with the announcement that Dalmare Shopping Centre is to be extended.
The centre, which is located on the main Sibenick-Split road, is to be transformed into an "international-style regional shopping centre", according to Colliers International Croatia.
Having experience of leasing out other shopping centres in Croatia, the firm is to be the leasing agent for the newly extended centre when it is completed next year.
Vedrana Likan, general manager at the company, said: "This upgrade is going to transform Dalmare into the leading shopping centre in the area and we are delighted to be working on it."
The firm is looking forward to "bringing the people of Sibenik and Dalmatia some great international retailers", he added.
According to Find Croatia, Sibenik is not as well-known as Dubrovnik or Split, but has "its own personality" and a number of attractions for visitors.
The city boasts "attractive" squares, retail areas and "stylish architecture".
