Dalmatia 'great' in September and October
06 August 2009That is according to Visnja Arambasesc, editor of the In Your Pocket guide to Croatia, who recently noted that the region is a "great" place to visit after the summer has faded.
She said: "All places in Dalmatia are great to visit in September and October.
"In fact, only then can you see the city in its full beauty."
The editor also noted that the region often experiences an Indian summer which means tourists can enjoy sun long after the main warm months.
Dalmatia is one of the most visited tourist areas of the country.
