Dalmatia vacation promoted
19 May 2009A Dalmatia vacation has found its way onto a list of the top 20 "summer breaks on a budget".
The island of Brac has been highlighted as an ideal destination for anyone who chooses a Croatia travel experience this year.
Croatia was recommended as a holiday by the Irish Independent, which described the nation as "cool".
"Brac is the largest of Croatia's Dalmatian islands, featuring picture-pretty bays with sand and pebble beaches and the famous Golden Cape strand at Bol," the newspaper stated.
A Dubrovnik vacation was also suggested, and was labelled "a true European treasure" by the publication.
Its cafes, scenery and "crystal-clear" waters were also spoken about in a positive light.
Both destinations were said to be places where holidaymakers' money will go further in 2009.
Indeed, the fact Croatia is not in the euro zone is one of the reasons given by the Post Office for the kuna's popularity among British people this year.
