Deals to be found on Croatia travel

Train passengers in Croatia will be able to find a number of special deals over the next few months, reports the Croatian Times.

Croatian Railways is offering free or cheaper car transport for anyone taking a night train from the country' capital city Zagreb to the port of Split on the Dalmatia coast between June 1st and the end of September.

This may be particularly relevant for backpackers who are heading to the Dalmatia vacation as part of their trip.

Each year, there are thousands of young people from across Europe who travel across the continent by train.

Croatia, with its typically sunny climate and beautiful scenery is a popular stop-off point for those embarking on such expeditions.

The country's other attractions include its history and mixture of ancient and modern architecture, as well as its proximity to the neighbouring Balkan states and other popular destinations like Italy.
