Depeche Mode concert in Croatia postponed
18 May 2009The Depeche Mode concert, which was due to take place in Zagreb on Thursday May 21st, has been postponed.
In an announcement on the band's website, which may leave those who had booked accommodation in Croatia looking for new things to do this week, it was revealed singer Dave Gahan is suffering from a severe bout of gastroenteritis.
According to the group's message, fans should keep hold of their tickets because there will be further news released regarding a new gig date.
This could result in many foreign followers of Depeche Mode returning for a holiday to Croatia later in the year.
Other concerts affected by Gahan's illness include last Saturday's Bucharest date, tonight's show in Sofia and Wednesday's scheduled performance in Serbia.
People who have chosen to vacation Croatian style this week may wish to visit the popular Dalmatia coast, where they can indulge in a number of water sports and enjoy the nightlife on offer.
