Disney to come to Croatia in December

Croatia can be a magical place in the run up to Christmas, with its own special traditions and events.

However, for any families concerned that the kids will not enjoy their time there, they can rest assured thanks to a new Disney show.

According to the Croatian Times, Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey will be taking place in Zagreb during December this year - a real treat for all the family.

Zagreb's Arena sports hall will host the exciting event, which features characters from many Disney films and sees a fun and elaborate story played out on the ice to rock and roll music.

Among the special Croatian Christmas traditions is the eating of sauerkraut and a special local pasta.

Turkey is also served, so anyone visiting from the UK will not feel too far away from home during the festive season.

Zagreb Arena has some big shows coming up before the year is out, including musical performances by Jose Carreras and Backstreet Boys.
