Dubrovnik String Quartet to entertain those on holiday in Croatia
03 March 2011People planning a holiday in Croatia for this spring may be wise to schedule their arrival on the Dalmatian coast to coincide with a special musical performance.
The Dubrovnik String Quartet are due to take to the stage in the ancient city on May 4th, with a wide range of popular tunes sure to be on offer.
Such an event may provide a relaxing and sophisticated evening's entertainment after a long day spent soaking up the rays in one Croatia's premier resorts and learning more about its fascinating history.
The concert will be held at St Saviour's Church with a local start time of 21:00 and the group will perform again a week later on May 11th at the same venue.
It is just one of a number of prestigious musical events due to take place over the coming months in Croatia, with another notable highlight coming in July when Elton John stages a gig in the country.
