Eagles of Death Metal fly into Zagreb
10 March 2009Rock and roll heroes the Eagles of Death Metal are to land in Zagreb next week as part of their latest tour.
The US-based group, who shot to fame with their 2006 album Death by Sexy, are set to play at the Croatian capital's Boogaloo club on March 19th.
Featuring Queens of the Stone Age vocalist Josh Homme, the band play an exciting and intense mixture of frenetic garage rock and old time blues.
The Eagles of Death Metal are not the only legendary rockers to perform in the city in the near future, with world-famous Irish act U2 announcing yesterday (March 9th) that they are to play in Zagreb for the first time.
Fans heading to the city for the concert will no doubt want to experience some of the other attractions Zagreb has to offer, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Croatian National Theatre.
