Edinburgh to Dubrovnik flights to launch in 2010

Scottish folk heading to Dubrovnik next year will find their journey much easier thanks to Jet2.com.

The airline is to begin new flights from Edinburgh to the Croatian city for their summer 2010 schedule.

Flights will be as cheap as £34.99 one way, making it a great budget choice for Croatian holidaymakers.

Gordon Dewar, managing director of Edinburgh Airport, noted that Croatia was becoming increasingly popular with vacationers.

"Dubrovnik is often reffered to as the new Riviera. With beautiful beaches, chic bars, boutique hotels and restaurants, alongside many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the picturesque city offers something for all types of holidaymakers," he said.

Flights to Dubrovnik from Edinburgh will begin on May 2nd 2010, making Jet2.com the perfect airline with which to fly to your Croatian villa holiday in the early summer before it gets too busy.

Earlier this month, flyglobespan announced it would be putting on flights from Aberdeen to Dubrovnik from next summer.
