Electric Elephant organisers 'praise Croatia'
11 September 2008Two of the organisers of the Electric Elephant have extolled the virtues of Croatia as the host country for the music festival.
Luke and Justin Unabomber told ManchesterConfidential.com the sunny weather was one of the main reasons they decided to bring the Electric Chair club in Manchester to the "beautiful" Dalmatian coast.
Being able to book acts from outside the dance sphere and include electronica DJs and psychedelic folk bands was also a reason behind moving out of the basement and onto the beach.
As for the future of the festival, Justin told the website: "We need to keep a lid on it I think. It's quite a big site, so I think we could probably have two or three times as many people here but after that it starts to lose its specialness."
Luke added future events will evolve slowly and will retain its rawness as well as a "bit of substance".
A blogger, writing on drownedinsound.com under the handle of Banjo Rinse last week, recently commented they "can't wait" for next year's festival.
The contributor also described the town of Petrcane, which hosted the event, as "beautiful".
