Enjoy Goran Koran on Dubrovnik holiday

Visitors to the city of Dubrovnik next month will be able to enjoy the musical delights of Goran Koran on their Croatia holiday.

The Dubrovnik Tourist Board has noted the acclaimed singer will be on hand to perform on the opening night of this year's Dubrovnik Summer Festival.

He will play at Hotel Excelsior, which is traditionally the host of an event to mark the beginning of the seasonal festival.

Guests are assured of delicious food and drink, a spectacular fireworks show and wonderful views of the ancient city itself.

Of course, the highlight for many will still be Koran's performance, as he is set to play an entirely unplugged concert on July 10th.

The tourism body suggested that his sounds will be symbolic of the local area, including the rest of Dalmatia and the Mediterranean.

Anthony Nicholas, writing for the Scotsman, recently said his time in Dubrovnik was one of the highlights of a cruise in the region.
