Eurail to offer special deals in spring
15 September 2008People thinking of heading to Croatia this coming spring could benefit from cheaper rail travel, it has emerged.
The Eurail Group is set to bring out a range of special edition rail passes enabling people to travel throughout Europe if they wish, Antara News reports.
Customers are to be offered a special off-peak promotion giving customers travel discounts on both the Eurail Global Pass and Eurail Select Pass.
According to the news provider, those buying a 15 or 21-day Eurail Global Pass will receive 21 days or a month respectively, while people opting for a Select Pass for three countries will be able to travel eight or ten days within a two-month period rather than six or eight.
As well as Croatia, the Global Pass can be used in a further 19 nations, including neighbouring Hungary.
The Eurail Global Pass costs from 503 euros (£399) for an adult, which entitles the traveller to make their journeys for 15 days continuously.
