Fabrio a fan of holidaying in Vis

Croatian diver Karla Fabrio has revealed her love for the Dalmatia holiday island of Vis.

In an interview with the Southeast European Times, the sportswoman said that the island is an ideal place for someone like her on both a professional and personal level.

"Vis is beautiful when diving and training, because the underwater scenery is breathtaking," she explained. "It's my favourite place to combine training and leisure."

Fabrio also revealed that she chose the island for her wedding, which highlights how highly she regards the destination.

Her comments come after the Observer named another Croatia holiday destination as one of the cheapest but best places to get married: the island of Korcula.

Located in the southern part of the Dalmatia region, the island was considered a top spot to tie the knot by the newspaper, alongside larger cities in Italy and Austria.
