Festival fans could add Serbia to itinerary of Croatia holidays
21 June 2011While Croatia holidays are ideal for those attending some of Europe's favourite festivals – such as Soundwave and the Garden Festival – the prospect of adding a trip to Serbia during their stay could be an enticing one.
That is because the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia has highlighted just what is on offer in the country.
It suggested three "huge" festivals can be found in the nation – and the best news of all is that all three take place within a week of each other.
As such, a trip in late July and early August offers the potential to take in events in both Croatia and Serbia.
Guca Music Festival and Nisville both offer top-class performers and a vibrant atmosphere, while the Belgrade Beer Fest is another option for lovers of the alcoholic beverage.
The Croatian Times recently told how visitors to the Terraneo festival can expect a rich variety of local and international music.
