Festival may tempt theatre fans to book Croatian holiday

A renowned theatrical festival is due to return to Croatia in April - which may be of interest to people looking for an Easter break.

The Naj, Naj, Naj event features 11 domestic and six international theatre groups putting on a total of 20 shows, the Croatian Times reports.

Fans of the arts may find travelling to Croatia during the month to be particularly enjoyable.

Organisers are anticipating about 5,000 people - some of whom will be on holiday in Croatia - to attend the shows at theatres across Zagreb between April 6th and 11th, the newspaper explains.

Naj, Naj, Naj was founded in 2001 and aims to showcase the very best theatre Croatia has to offer.

Croatia's theatre traditions were perhaps illustrated by a project entitled Theatre Night last November that saw about 70 venues from every corner of the country open their doors for free for one evening.
