Festival promises great music and fun to those on Croatia holidays
20 June 2011People who have booked Croatia holidays this year may be interested in visiting the Terraneo festival, a five-day event hosted just outside of Dalmatia port.
According to the Croatian Times, the occasion will see a range of home-grown and international music talent visiting the country to kick off proceedings on August 9th.
UK chart toppers La Roux are said to be in attendance, while US band The National and Canadian indie-rock band Destroyer will also feature.
Local acts include Overflow and The Bambi Molesters, with the newspaper describing the open-air festival as offering "sun, sea and good sounds to all lovers of music-filled summertime adventure".
Those less interested in music will be able to enjoy boat trips to the surrounding islands, various workshops, a local national park and camping activities.
The Dubrovnik Tourism Board recently highlighted East West Beach as a great option for individuals looking to take a Croatia holiday this summer, with the venue offering a restaurant, lounge and club.
