Film and music fans could book Croatian holiday to enjoy festival

Music and film lovers alike will be drawn to find accommodation in Croatia in order to attend a new festival which celebrates movies about musicians.

The Festival of Documentary Rock Film (DORF) will take place between March 4th and 7th in the town of Vinkovci, where a host of Croatian and international pictures will be screened.

Workshops, exhibitions, promotions of books and musical concerts will also be offered by the festival, which comes recommended by the Croatian National Tourist Board.

"If a music documentary links up a picture and a sound into an ideal form, then DORF provides links between film lovers and music lovers in the best possible way," the organisation said.

Film fans may also be tempted to book a Croatian villa after learning of another movie festival, the 17 Days of Croatian Film, which will take place at the Student Centre in Zagreb, What's on When recently reported.
